* Puella Magi Madoka Magica // holy yuri peak
Lucky Star // If I was not a child 2010 and instead an adult weeb, I would probably understand this but this is just boring.
* Azumanga Daioh // holy slice of life peak
Brewing:
The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel
THE GOOD GIRL by Little Thunder // I love Little Thunder's style, I'd love to see her illustrate something longer and more dimensional.

Nothing >_>
To Watch: Cosmos
Killing of a Sacred Deer
Dr. Strangelove
Umberto D.
Neo Tokyo // Spooky
Mickey-17 // super disappointing and lame
A Minecraft Movie // fucking awful
Anora // really good. got engaged with all the characters and the plot they got themselves in. got very sad and introspective by the end.
Fantastic Mr.Fox // Had something strong going with the story and character arcs, but fizzled off any of those potentials, leaving a dissapointing movie.
* The Substance // Brought me as much physical pain as it did emotional pain. This movie encapsulates that womanly feeling of "just being a body" well. Not just by men in the industry, but the self-inflicted, societally encouraged PAIN one can put on themself. I love how that's the focus and not shoving "wow, society" down your throat. Did not love the ending but I definitely see it fitting into a different cut of the movie. Not perfect, but it was great and I loved it and it was right up my alley. Wrote a LOT of notes which I will be uploading once refined. Gut-wrenching (haha) watch that I will love reading interviews and behind the scenes on, will certainly watch Coralie Fargeat's other movies.
NOTES!
